How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone:

* # 0 6 #

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down

and keep it somewhere safe. Should your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and

give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the

SIM card your phone will be totally useless.

You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell

it either

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN http:// and https:// -VERY INFORMATIVE...

The main difference between http:// and https:// is, It's all about keeping you secure

[b]HTTP stands for HyperText Transport Protocol, which is just a fancy way of saying it's a protocol (a language, in a manner of speaking) for information to be passed back and forth between web servers and clients.

The important thing is the letter S which makes the difference between HTTP and HTTPS.

The S (big surprise) stands for "Secure".


If you visit a website or webpage, and look at the address in the web browser, it will likely begin with the following: http://.

This means that the website is talking to your browser using the regular 'unsecure' language.

In other words, it is possible for someone to "eavesdrop" on your computer's conversation with the website.

If you fill out a form on the website, someone might see the information you send to that site.

This is why you never ever ever enter your credit card number in an http website!

But if the web address begins with https://, that basically means your computer is talking to the website in a secure code that no one can eavesdrop on.

You understand why this is so important, right?

If a website ever asks you to enter your credit card information, you should automatically look to see if the web address begins with https://.

If it doesn't, there's no way you're going to enter sensitive information like a credit card number!

Hide your folder without any SOFTWARE

Its Tested and Working very well. Dosen't even show in Windows Search.

step by step process.

The locking process:
1.Go to run, type notepad and then press enter.
2.Notepad opens now type
3. ren abc abc.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
4. abc should be the name of your folder. now save the notepad file with name as loc and the extension as .bat not as .txt
5.now run loc.bat and you can see that your folder does not opens.

Now the unlocking process:
1.Go to run, type notepad and then press enter.
2.Notepad opens now type
3. ren abc.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} abc
4. abc should be the name of your folder. now save the notepad file with name as key and the extension as .bat not as .txt
5.now run key.bat and you can see that your folder opens.

NOTE: HERE RUN (KEY.BAT OR LOC.BAT)MEANS U HAVE TO TYPE THEM IN RUN AND CLICK ENTER
